Winter into Spring

 So, when we moved from Berkshire to Belfast ten years ago, my husband and I began spending January and February (and sometimes Christmas too) in the Var, Provence. We rent a lovely house,  being disinclined to take on the responsibility and cares of owning a property.  The mornings can be frosty, but the afternoons are warmer and by mid to late February can climb to 20/21 degrees centigrade. The sky is mostly clear and blue, the night sky filled with stars. And in February, the hillsides are bright with mimosa.
