The Winner

I chose the winner from a short list of three: 
"The Dragon on my Windowsill"
"Last Best Hope in a Shade of Orange"
"Puny Joon".

Of these three, "The Dragon on my Windowsill" lingered longest in my mind. I liked the close observation, "flattened, splayed stilettos", the lively verbs - 'skittering', and the sustained 'fashion' metaphor. I judge it the winner.
