My desk

 My desk isn’t often as tidy as this. The post-it note on my iMac says, “I must not look at emails or the internet until 6pm.” (A rule I confess to breaking occasionally eg I’m writing this when I should be writing my novel.)
The card propped against the lamp says, “Thinking is not writing. Planning is not writing. Only writing is writing.”
